Basic Solution: Add Newsletter Email to Contacts
The simplest way to stop future newsletters from going into your Spam folder is to add the newsletter email clippings@katexic.com
as a Google contact. You can do this by either navigating to the Contacts page and adding an entry or by opening an existing newsletter and adding the sender as a contact using the menu available under the arrow at the top right of the message:

Surefire Solution: Create a Filter
You can be sure not to miss out on any future newsletters (and organize to your heart’s content) if you create a Gmail filter. It’s not hard! First, find an issue of the newsletter and 1) use the little arrow at the top right of the message to show your options and then 2) use the Filter messages like this
option:
You should see a box that looks like the following…simply click the Create filter with this search

Finally, select (at least) the following options: 1) Never Send it to Spam
and 2) Also add filter to existing messages
. Finally, click Create filter
.
Yahoo Mail
For Yahoo mail, the simple solution is to add our address, clippings@katexic.com
, as a contact, which is easy enough from any issue of the newsletter:
Apple Mail
Similarly with Apple Mail, simply find an issue and add the sender, clippings@katexic.com
, as a contact.
Hotmail / Outlook Online
Add to Contacts
Finally, if you are a Hotmail/Outlook online user, open any issue of the newsletter, click on the from address clippings@katexic.com
, and use the Add

If Needed: Rescue from Spam
It also helps (everyone) if you find any issues of the newsletter in your Spam folder and use the It's not spam
link.
